Posting Order: Taylor, Sam, Matt
The last thing Taylor expected when she got into the back of an ambulance with Tim was to find herself a patient in the ER. She was so upset by the time they got there following Tim having another one of those weird seizures in the ambulance that the fact they wanted to poke and prod her too went right over her head. Not to mention the fact she was alone and seemd to be haunted by the fucking ghost of technology future, getting nothing but voicemail every time she tried to call someone.
But now she was in a sterile, clinical and cold room in a gown after they had relieved her of her vomit-covered police uniform. It wasn't like she had time to change. She had sat and held Tim's hand until the paramedics arrived, and then she just automatically went with him. After that, she was clueless. It felt like forever before anyone would tell her anything, and the ER was chaotic and busy. She felt like an ant in a huge city. Then all of a sudden they were interrogating her, finally telling her she needed to get into a gown, that she needed prophylactic antibiotics, especially considering she was pregnant. Now she was sitting there on the narrow, uncomfortable bed in a daze, wishing just one of her friends would at least call her back. She wanted Jason, but she rationally knew that even if he got her messages, he would have a four hour drive back from Dillon in front of him.
She sucked in a heavy breath and held it for a few moments, trying to fight the urge to cry as she looked down at the IV in her hand, bewildered. What the hell was going on and why did it all have to keep happening to them?
